Maillots Pavlova is a family atelier for dance, show, sports and group costumes, with shops in Bruges and Schoten. We design and sew everything ourselves, from a single leotard to a complete group.
Our story
For 75 years we have been a household name in the world of dance, theatre and movement. What started as a knitter of stockings for parades is today in the hands of the fourth generation of the same West Flemish family.
The name refers to Anna Pavlova, the most famous ballerina of all time. We hold ourselves to that standard too: quality and a personal touch in every piece that leaves here.

Made-to-measure costumes Designed and sewn in our own atelier, to your idea, your fabric and your budget.
Dancewear and leotards Our own leotards, ballet skirts and shorts, from a full range of fabrics and colours.
Dance shoes Ballet shoes, pointe shoes, jazz and tap shoes by Merlet, So Danca, Capezio and Gaynor Minden.
Accessories and stage props Hair accessories and make-up, but also hats, masks, animal heads and theatre props.
How it works
You do not pay online here. You collect online and try on in the shop.
- Save whatever you like to your list. It stays saved, and you can share it or send it to the shop.
- Book an appointment or drop by in Bruges or Schoten. Bring your list and we will have everything ready.
- Try on, let us measure you and choose your fabric and colour. Whatever is not there, we make to measure.
Come try on in the shop
You choose at home, the rest we do together. You come in with your list on your phone, we lay out the models and you try them on at your own pace.
